According to the 2011 census, the top most educated state in India is Kerala. Its literacy rate is 93.91%. It has increased by 3% compared to the 2001 census. The population of this state is 37.98 million approximately

Lakshadweep:

According to the 2011 census, the 2nd most educated state in India is Lakshadweep. Its literacy rate is 92.28%. It has increased by 5.62% compared to the 2001 census. The population of this state is  93,344 approximately.

Mizoram:

According to the 2011 census, the 3rd most educated state in India is Mizoram. Its literacy rate is 91.58%. It has increased by 2.78% compared to the 2001 census. The population of this state is 1.67 million approximately

Tripura:

According to the 2011 census, the 4th most educated state in India is Tripura. Its literacy rate is 87.75%. It has increased by 14.56% compared to the 2001 census. The population of this state is 41.85 lakhs approximately

Goa:

Andaman & Nicobar Islands:

The 10th most populated state in India is Andaman & Nicobar Islands according to the 2011 census. Its literacy rate is 86.27%. It has increased by 4.97% compared to the 2001 census. The population of this state is  above 3.81 lakhs approximately
